 Bill Burke serves as president of Burke, Worsham & Harrell, LLC. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Burke became a shareholder of BW&H in 1983. Mr. Burke graduated with honors from Georgia Southwestern State University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting. He received his Master of Accounting (Taxation) degree in 1979 from the University of Georgia. Mr. Burke provides a variety of services to clients in tax-related areas, as well as in financial and estate planning, and accounting systems consulting. Bill is past president of the Southwest Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and of the Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce. Bill is a recipient of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' "Discussion Leader of the Year" award. He is a graduate of Leadership Georgia. Bill has served as board chair of the Southwest Georgia Regional Library and has served on the Georgia Pines Community Service Board. Mrs. Worsham graduated from the University of Georgia in 1984 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in accounting. Mrs. Worsham performs a wide range of services in tax-related areas, including tax planning and preparation, estate planning, and small business consulting. Becky has served on the board of the Donalsonville-Seminole County Chamber of Commerce as well as of the Southwest Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Mrs. Harrell became a shareholder in 1994. Mrs. Harrell graduated with honors from Troy State University Dothan with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting. Mrs. Harrell offers a variety of services to clients in tax-related areas and she is in charge of all governmental auditing for the firm. She has experience with a variety of clients in different businesses, as well as offering Eldercare services for her senior clients. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mrs. Bowen graduated from Troy State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a minor in computer science. Her professional experience includes working in a business consulting capacity with our business clients and performing tax planning and tax preparation services for businesses and individuals. Mrs. Burke graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in accounting in 1996 and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. at Troy University. She joined the staff in 2001 providing taxation, bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and a variety of other services to clients. Prior to joining the firm, she was employed as Assistant Controller at Air Design Systems in Pensacola, FL and as the Financial Analyst for the Trane Company in the Lynn Haven, FL manufacturing facility.
